She wasn’t just the woman who raised him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She was his safe place, his foundation, and the keeper of every childhood memory he no longer had.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That he had always been deeply loved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That he would never truly be alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That painful experiences could shape a life without defining the person living it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Daniel read the first letter through tears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Neither of us spoke for a long time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When Martha peacefully passed away a few months later, the silence she left behind was overwhelming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
