Yerevan, which usually lives at its lively rhythm, has suddenly changed. There is still movement on the streets, people are still rushing about their business, but something has changed invisibly in the air. It is felt in the looks, in the silence between words, in the constant ringing of phones.

It all started unexpectedly. At first, only whispers. “Have you heard what’s happening…”, “They say this is just the beginning…” No one wanted to believe that the situation could change so quickly. But after a few hours, those whispers turned into anxiety, and anxiety into real fear.
